Dell’s Thinnest Workstation Yet Leads New Pro Precision India Launch
Dell has brought its Pro Precision workstation portfolio to India, headlined by a 1.4kg ultra-thin model, with the full range priced from Rs 89,000 to Rs 2,25,000.
The headline device in Dell’s new Pro Precision workstation portfolio, now launched in India, is the Pro Precision 5 series 14S — a 1.4kg machine that Dell describes as its thinnest and lightest workstation ever. It features a three-sided aluminium build and comes in 14-inch and 16-inch options.
Buyers of the 14S can choose between Intel Core Ultra Series 3 chips with integrated Arc Pro graphics or AMD Ryzen AI 400 processors with Radeon PRO graphics, with support for up to 64GB of 8533 MT/s LPCAMM2 memory. The model is set to arrive on August 10.
It sits within a broader five-line range that also includes the standard Pro Precision 5 series, starting at Rs 1,49,000 with Intel Core Ultra 9 Series 3 chips and a 50 TOPS NPU, configurable with NVIDIA RTX 500 or RTX Pro 2000 Blackwell graphics and up to 4TB of storage on the 16-inch version.
The Pro Precision 7 series moves into heavier territory, starting at Rs 2,25,000, with the larger 16-inch model carrying 50W processors, a 50 TOPS NPU, RTX Pro 3000 Blackwell graphics and storage up to 8TB. The most affordable entry into the range remains the Pro Precision 7 T1 desktop at Rs 89,000, built on Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors with a dedicated NPU.
Every model gets Wi-Fi 7, optional 5G, Thunderbolt 4 and FIPS 140-3-certified TPM 2.0 security, with select models carrying EPEAT Gold and ENERGY STAR ratings. Dell has also introduced Pro Max, a separate two-tier AI-accelerator line: the GB10 variant is available now from Rs 4,99,000, while the more powerful GB300, built for frontier-level AI inference, is due later in 2026.
