This electric farm machine can spray, carry loads and clear stubble, all in one

XMatic Innovation's FarmX 500, unveiled at Agri Intex 2026 in Coimbatore, combines load-carrying, spraying and stubble removal into a single electric machine.

Among the hundreds of exhibits at Agri Intex 2026 in Coimbatore, XMatic Innovation’s FarmX 500 has drawn particular attention for its multipurpose capabilities. XMatic representative Sasi Kumar described the machine’s range of functions at the expo, which opened at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex on Thursday and runs through July 13.

“FarmX 500 can handle load-carrying, spraying and stubble removal. It is built to help farmers manage multiple tasks with a single machine,” Kumar said. The electric version of the equipment offers practical advantages for daily farm activities: on a full charge, the machine can perform for up to six hours, and it comes with a 4.8-kilowatt battery option that makes it a feasible choice for smaller farms.

The FarmX 500 is one of many automated technologies on display at this year’s expo, which features 496 companies from across India and abroad, including Italy, Malaysia, Japan and the US, spread across 660 stalls covering 150,000 square feet. Other automation highlights include advanced drone sprayers, direct paddy-transplanting machines and automated harvesters designed to streamline farm labour from seeding to harvest.

The 24th edition of the expo also includes specialised zones for nurseries, livestock and live machinery demonstrations, alongside high-quality seeds, organic fertilisers and saplings ranging from local fig trees to climate-adapted Shimla apple plants.
